On our second day (and last full day) in Seattle we went to Lola, a cute Mediterranean brunch spot in downtown Seattle. Derek mentioned that their donuts are amazing so of course we had to order some! They were so soft and doughy deliciousness! I ordered the "Egg's Benedict" with crispy garlic potatoes and Derek got choose the "Lola Breakfast" with eggs, pork-maple sausage, garlic potatoes and toast. I was VERY impressed with the Eggs Benedict, they were literally the best I've ever had! I highly recommend going to Lola the next time you visit Seattle. (Keep reading below...)

After the Great Wheel we took the monorail to go see the popular Chihuly Garden and Glass. Dale Chihuly is the artist that creates these beautiful glass sculptures and was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington.

So amazing, most of these sculptures were so large.

After the Glass Garden we headed back to the hotel to get ready for dinner. I received some great recommendations for seafood dinner spots in Seattle so we decided to go with the popular spot Elliott's Oyster House right on the pier. I love seafood so I was so excited to order oysters! We first ordered some Rosé wine and bread to start. The oyster menu was so large that the waitress just brought out a couple different kinds from Washington and California for us. They were all so delicious and so fresh but if I has to choose my favorite, it would be #3 the Humboldt Kumamoto from California. I was in the mood for some crab so I ordered the steamed "Dungeness crab legs" with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was exactly what I was hoping for and so good! Derek isn't a big seafood fan so he ordered the "Bone-in Grilled Chicken" with mashed potatoes and asparagus. We were so happy with everything we had from Elliott's and highly recommend it on your next trip!

Our last stop on the way back to our hotel was "Shug's Soda Fountain and Ice Cream". This cute old fashioned style diner has various milkshakes, ice cream and cookies. I ordered the cookies and cream ice cream in a chocolate chip cookie sandwich...and it was delish! Derek ordered a mint chocolate chip ice cream on a waffle cone. We had such a great time in Seattle and I will definitely be back!
