san francisco waterfront
I've been to San Francisco once before for work but I didn't get a chance to see many tourist spots...so this year I was so excited to get another chance! We arrived in SF on Tuesday morning and had the whole day to see the city. Our first stop for lunch was Sushirrito, known for it's sushi burritos in the Union Square area. (Keep reading below...)
We walked back to our hotel after lunch and stayed at the Marriott Marquis right downtown. I loved how nice this hotel was and the great location, close to everything! The Marriott also has a rooftop bar called The View Lounge, which has great views and cocktails.
After checking in to our hotel room we got ready and headed out to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39. (Which our Uber driver told us is the #1 Tourist spot in SF)
After walking around and seeing the sights of Chinatown, we headed back to the hotel. We had plans with our co-workers to have dinner at the Boudin Bakery in Fisherman's Wharf, so we got ready and headed to the View Lounge at the rooftop of Marriott before dinner.
After dinner, a few of us headed to "Local Edition" a very quaint cocktail lounge right near our hotel. The drinks were really good, great atmosphere and we had a great time!
After our night at the bar we headed back to the hotel. The next two days we attended an Expo for work in our hotel. It was such a busy trip but I'm so grateful we had a full day to tour the city! San Francisco truly has so much to see and I can't wait to go back! :)
