We woke up excited for the full day ahead and decided on a brunch spot near Times Square called "Blue Dog Kitchen & Bar". There was about a 30 minute wait when we arrived, which isn't too bad. When we were able to sit down at our table, mimosas were in order! We discovered that on their brunch cocktail menu there were drinks with various juice detoxes in them. I've never heard of an alcoholic drink with green juice...I think that's when I fell in love with the place! I ordered the "Traditional Eggs Benedict", Derek got the "Ham & Cheese Omelette", Chelsey ordered the "House Cured Salmon Platter" and Jared got the "Banana French Toast"....the food tasted as amazing as it looks! I would highly recommend this restaurant for a great quality meal & unique menu...and can't forget it's close location to Times Square!

We took off to Times Square because well, it's literally the #1 tourist spot in NYC and we couldn't miss it! Derek and I stopped to get theater tickets for "The Book of Mormon" for later that night while we were in the area. *If you wait until the day of to buy broadway tickets it's so much cheaper than if you were to buy them ahead of time. We took some pictures and ventured around Times Square and as you would expect, it was packed full of people. There's so much going on whether it's the street performers, billboards, buses, etc. it's definitely a must see in New York City!
