miles to magnolia
Living so close to Waco, on our free Saturday we jumped at the chance to go visit the Magnolia Market at the Silos. (it's only about an hour and a half away from Dallas!) If you're a fan of the show "Fixer Upper" with Chip and Joanna Gaines then the Magnolia Market is a dream come true! From the fresh bakery, seed supply store, market store to the delicious food trucks this place really is more than just a shopping trip. They even have bean bags, "corn hole", footballs and other games in the center grass to pass the time for children and families.
It turned out to be such a gorgeous day, our first stop was the food trucks to check out our lunch options. With so many different food trucks it was hard to choose, but we ended up choosing an asian inspired sandwich truck called "Club Sandwich". We both ordered the trashcan rice bowl with spicy pork and we were not let down, it was delicious! (Pictured down below) We were dying to try the watermelon juice drinks (Watermelon filled with mixed watermelon juice) at Luna Juice, but unfortunately the line was too long! After devouring our lunch, we wandered into the very busy Magnolia Market to see what the buzz is all about. As you can see from the pictures, the market has a ton of gorgeous home decor options to choose from and so much variety, if you're willing to spend the money! We also stopped in the little seed supply store which had a really great selection of indoor and outdoor plants as well as various garden decor. We planned on stopping by the bakery to get some goodies but the line to get in the door was wayy too long! All in all, we really enjoyed ourselves, this place is so much more than a shopping trip. I would highly recommend coming in to see what the Magnolia Market at the Silos is all about, and definitely during the week to beat the lines!
Special thanks to Derek for taking the pictures :)
