hide and seek
Deep Ellum (right next to downtown Dallas) is a creative, music and art district, which means it also has a great variety of foods and bars to choose from. One of the many artistic aspects to Deep Ellum is how creative and arts focused it is, with graffiti murals on almost every corner. As you can see from the pictures above, we ventured through Deep Ellum and took a couple photos in front of some graffiti covered walls on the way to dinner.
We made our way to Hide, a new bar & restaurant on Elm st. just in time for happy hour. (Who doesn't love happy hour?!) We ordered up some cocktails - Old Fashioned and a Mai Tai..both were exactly what we needed. For dinner we ordered the "Double Cheeseburger" and "Gyro Tartine" for our main courses. The gyro is basically a pita pizza and it was definitely a hit, same for the cheeseburger! If you like gyros then you would love this. We were pleasantly surprised with how great everything was, this place has nothing to hide! ;)
